Seamless, hard-wearing epoxy floors for commercial and industrial spaces
Pros LLC installs epoxy floor systems for manufacturing plants, warehouses, food and beverage facilities, medical buildings, schools, and retail spaces. From our headquarters in Florence, AL, we serve the Shoals, Athens, Decatur, Madison, Huntsville, and the wider Southeast.
Every floor starts with proper surface preparation, because a coating is only as strong as its bond to the concrete. We're a family-owned, OSHA-certified general contractor, licensed with the State of Alabama, insured, and bonded. One accountable team handles your estimate, permits, prep, installation, and final walkthrough, and we schedule the work around your operations.
Choose the floor system that fits the work
Epoxy isn't one product. The right system depends on traffic, equipment, chemicals, moisture, cleaning routines, and how the space needs to look. We'll walk your floor and recommend one during your estimate.
-
Solid-color epoxy
A seamless, chemical-resistant coating that brightens the space, protects the slab, and cleans up easily.
Best forWarehouses, manufacturing floors, mechanical rooms, back-of-house areas
-
Flake systems
Decorative flakes broadcast into the base coat and sealed with a clear topcoat. Adds texture, slip resistance, and color that hides everyday wear.
Best forShowrooms, retail spaces, commercial kitchens, locker rooms
-
Quartz systems
Colored quartz aggregate built into the coating for a dense, non-porous, hygienic surface that resists stains, chemicals, and bacteria.
Best forHealthcare facilities, laboratories, food processing areas
-
Metallic epoxy
Metallic pigments create a three-dimensional, high-gloss finish that makes a strong first impression.
Best forLobbies, high-end retail, showrooms, offices
-
Grind and seal
Existing concrete is ground and sealed, keeping its natural look with a durable finish. A cost-effective way to revitalize a worn slab.
Best forWarehouses, retail, restaurants, budget-conscious upgrades

- ESD flooringStatic control for spaces with sensitive electronics and equipment.

- ContainmentsCoated containment areas that help keep hazardous materials from spreading.
- Safety stripingHighly visible, long-lasting lines for traffic lanes, work areas, and hazard zones.
- Floor signageHigh-visibility markings built to survive heavy traffic and frequent cleaning.
- Branding and logosYour logo or brand colors set right into the floor.

How we build an epoxy floor
A long-lasting floor goes down in layers, and each one depends on the layer beneath it. Select a step to see where it sits in the system.
-
We check the slab's condition, moisture, traffic, chemical exposure, and your production schedule. You get a same-day estimate, and we handle the required building and construction permits.
-
Diamond grinding removes old coatings and contaminants and opens the surface so the coating can bond. Cracks, spalls, and low spots are repaired and leveled.
-
A penetrating primer seals the prepared concrete, strengthens the bond, and helps prevent bubbles and pinholes in the finished floor.
-
The epoxy body coat gives the floor its thickness, color, and much of its strength.
-
For decorative and textured systems, flake or quartz is broadcast into the wet base coat for color, texture, and slip resistance. Excess material is scraped and vacuumed before sealing.
-
A clear protective topcoat locks the system in and guards against abrasion, chemicals, and staining. Anti-slip texture can be added here.
-
We add safety striping, floor signage, or logos, walk the finished floor with you, and share cleaning and maintenance guidance for your system.
Solid-color and metallic systems skip the broadcast step. Grind and seal floors are finished with a sealer right after the concrete is ground.
What an epoxy floor does for your facility
Bare concrete dusts, stains, and soaks up spills. A properly installed epoxy system turns it into a sealed, working surface built for daily operations.
-
Stands up to heavy use
Handles forklifts, pallet jacks, rolling equipment, and constant foot traffic without the dusting and wear of bare concrete.
-
Resists chemicals and spills
Oils, cleaners, and many industrial chemicals stay on the surface where they can be wiped up instead of soaking into the slab.
-
Cleans quickly
A seamless surface with no grout lines leaves fewer places for dirt, moisture, and bacteria to collect.
-
Makes the floor safer
Non-slip textures, safety striping, and high-visibility markings help reduce slips and keep people and equipment in their lanes.
-
Brightens work areas
Light-colored and glossy finishes reflect light back into the room, making workspaces brighter and easier to inspect.
-
Protects your concrete
Sealing the slab shields it from moisture, abrasion, and staining, which helps extend the life of the floor underneath.

Epoxy flooring questions
Have a question that isn't here? Call (256) 762-1193.
Which epoxy system is right for my facility?
It depends on how the floor is used: traffic and equipment loads, chemical exposure, moisture, cleaning methods, slip risk, and appearance. Solid-color epoxy suits most industrial areas, quartz is a strong choice for sanitary spaces, flake and metallic systems add decorative finishes, and grind and seal is a cost-effective option for existing concrete. We recommend a system after walking your site.
Can you coat old or damaged concrete?
In most cases, yes. We grind off old coatings and contaminants, repair cracks and spalls, and level low spots before any coating goes down. If the slab has moisture or structural problems that affect the floor, we'll explain them and your options during the estimate.
How long does an epoxy floor installation take?
It depends on the square footage, the condition of the concrete, and the system you choose. A grind and seal floor goes down faster than a multi-coat flake or quartz system, and each coat needs time to cure before the next one. Your estimate includes a project timeline.
Can you work around our operations?
Yes. We regularly retrofit existing facilities with minimal disruption. We plan the timing and sequence of the work with your team so your facility can keep running while the new floor goes in.
How do I maintain an epoxy floor?
Regular sweeping or dust mopping, routine cleaning with a pH-neutral cleaner, and prompt cleanup of chemical spills keep most epoxy floors in good shape. At handover, we give you cleaning and maintenance guidance for your specific system.
Can you add safety striping, signage, or logos?
Yes. We install epoxy-based safety striping for traffic lanes, work areas, and hazard zones, along with durable floor signage and custom logos built into the floor system.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Pros LLC is licensed with the State of Alabama, fully insured and bonded, and OSHA certified. Our technicians are background-checked and drug-tested.
Do you install epoxy floors for homes?
No. Pros LLC focuses on commercial and industrial flooring, including warehouses, manufacturing plants, medical and food facilities, schools, retail spaces, and other business properties.
How do I get an estimate?
